What would you do if you were in my shoes

A close friend of mine, a guy who is also a friend of my boyfriend, reached out to me about one of my friends. The girl isn't really a close friend of mine; she's more of an acquaintance. He asked me to talk to her because he wanted to get to know her better and collect her contact.

After a lot of back and forth, she eventually gave him her contact, and they started chatting. At first, she wasn't really interested in him, but after he started showing off money and flashy things, she began to like him. She was saying things like, “I like him,” “He's my spec,” and all that.

What she doesn't know is that most of the things he's showing off aren't actually his. He's basically living a fake lifestyle.

At some point, I even asked her if she was sure she actually liked him and wasn't just attracted to what she was seeing. She insisted that she genuinely liked him.

Then one day, the guy told me and my boyfriend that he actually has a girlfriend and that he's not serious about this girl at all. According to him, he's just playing around with her and using her to pass time as his girlfriend is far.

Now I'm stuck.

Should I tell the girl what I know?

Because if I tell her, she might think I'm jealous of what the guy has or that I'm trying to spoil things between them. She could also go back and tell him, “This is what she told me,” and that could cause serious problems between me and him because he's a close friend of mine and also my boyfriend's friend.

At the same time, I feel like she deserves to know what she's getting herself into, especially because she's already starting to like him.

But then again, she's not really my close friend, and I don't know if it's my place to get involved to that extent.

So what would you do in my position?

Would you tell her and risk the friendship/relationship with the guy, or would you stay out of it and let her figure things out herself?
