People move on quick

People move on fast.

A colleague died at work. It was posted on the WhatsApp group, and everyone started posting RIP messages. But work didn’t stop. He was replaced quickly. Soon after, people went back to posting normal things—someone had a birthday the next day, another person celebrated a promotion. It was as if nothing had happened.

It made me stop and rethink things. The truth is, most systems keep moving no matter who leaves. The moment you stop generating value, you get replaced and life goes on. That’s why it makes sense to prioritize yourself—your health, your goals, and your own life—because the world won’t pause for you.
