Why My Department Is Special.

My name is Olagesin Abdulsalam Bolaji, a 100-level student of Cyber Security at the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA).

My department is special because it is at the forefront of protecting the digital world. In an age where technology is becoming part of our everyday lives, cyber security plays a vital role in keeping information safe from cyber threats and attacks. Knowing that I am studying a course that helps protect people, organizations, and even nations makes me proud of my department.

Although I am still in my first year, I have already discovered that Cyber Security is more than just computers. It teaches critical thinking, problem-solving, discipline, and responsibility. Every lesson reminds us that technology can be used for good when placed in the right hands.

What also makes my department unique is the passion of the students. We are united by a shared interest in technology and innovation. We encourage one another to learn new skills and stay updated with the latest developments in the digital world.

I believe the Department of Cyber Security at FUTA is special because it is preparing future professionals who will defend digital systems and make the internet a safer place for everyone. I am proud to be a Cyber Security student, and I look forward to contributing to the growth and success of my department.
