About the Roles

Successful candidates will support plant operations, equipment reliability, inspections, maintenance activities, troubleshooting, automation systems, and continuous operational improvement across Lafarge Africa’s industrial facilities.

The positions are suited for professionals with experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, engineering systems, technical maintenance, and production environments.

Key Responsibilities

Support plant and production operations

Monitor equipment performance and operational efficiency

Conduct mechanical and electrical inspections

Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities

Troubleshoot operational and technical faults

Support automation and instrumentation systems

Coordinate maintenance planning and scheduling

Ensure compliance with safety procedures and operational standards

Prepare maintenance and technical reports

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

Relevant engineering or technical qualification depending on the role

Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or plant operations environments

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Good understanding of maintenance and operational systems

Strong safety consciousness and compliance mindset

Ability to work effectively in fast-paced industrial environments

Good communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work shifts where required

Strong willingness to learn and grow professionally
