THE COUNTDOWN: NO 3

3 little monkeys jumping on the bed. One fell down and broke his head. 

Adanmma left home at the age of 5. Her mother sent her to leave with her younger sister, Agnes. Adanmma didn't make it to 7. Her mothers cries rose to the sky. Agnes said she was ill. The family layed the matter to rest. Adanmma was ill, and she died ill. But it wasn't malaria, it wasn't typhoid, it was torture. She was barely fed. She was subdued to labour. How much could a girl less that 8 take? She was beaten. She was sexually assaulted. Each day her cries painted the air, each night her pains kept her awake. Agnes and her husband crushed the little girl until there was nothing left. 

That day the husband and wife  boasted about "being one", they smiled as they waved their guests goodbye. The killer nodded at their acknowledgement, he fused their heads together. 

Mummy called the doctor, and the doctor said, "Mummy, now, there are 2 little monkeys jumping on the bed".
