You want a man who is emotionally intelligent, financially stable, spiritually grounded, has a great sense of humour, stands at 6ft and communicates like a trained therapist. Fair enough, sis. But here's the question: ARE YOU THAT WOMAN? If he brings a whole table to the relationship, what are YOU bringing? Just a plate and an appetite? It's easy to draw up a 100-point checklist for the kind of man you want. But how many of those standards can you genuinely meet yourself? Can you even score 30% on your own list? Dating a man you can afford goes beyond his bank balance. Can you match his emotional maturity, intellectual depth, values, lifestyle and expectations? And can he equally meet yours? If you cannot afford the demands of the relationship mentally, emotionally, financially and spiritually, perhaps you need to reconsider what you're asking for. Agree or disagree?
