I was at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office to collect my permanent voters card some days ago. To my disappointment  it wasn't out yet. It has been pending for months now. I was also impressed by the number of people at the center who came for their PVCs not to mention the crowd during the registration period.

Majority of Nigerians as electorate is waking up to the reality of actively participating in this civic responsibility. I really hope that the rest who refused to vote or participate in political activity will begin to see the need for it. That they realize that the way to effect a positive change is by getting up and doing something and  not submitting to some propaganda.

The government in recent years of administration may seem to be operating a kind of government where its executives are on a mandate to push civilians overboard then give them a straw. Knowing that a drowning man will grab on a straw in a bid to save his life. It seems to me like that has always been the strategy. Except you can convince me otherwise I believe it is all just dirty politics.

Anyways get your permanent voters card let's try one more time.
